Mitsubishi Air Conditioning

Mitsubishi Electric, part of the Mitsubishi Group of Companies – a loose consortium or conglomerate of independent Japanese companies – has benefitted from more than 50 years experience in the development and manufacture of air conditioning systems. Mitsubishi air conditioning systems were the first on the market to feature “inverter” technology – matching the cooling, or heating, output of the system to the exact requirements of a building – and, nowadays, are energy conscious and cost effective.

Mitsubishi Air Conditioning Systems

Mitsubishi air conditioning systems includes the versatile “Mr. Slim” range which features environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant – capable of absorbing and releasing heat more efficiently than other refrigerant – and is, in fact, the best selling range of split air conditioning systems in the United Kingdom. This type of Mitsubishi air conditioning system is available in models suitable for installation on a wall, as a flush ceiling cassette or suspended from a ceiling, in outputs ranging from 3.5kW to 26kW. It is therefore suitable for a wide range of applications. Other features include a highly efficient and reliable compressor – for low running and maintenance costs – and almost silent operation.

Another Mitsubishi air conditioning solution is the equally quiet “M Series” range – available in standard and inverter models – offering noise output of just 21db(A). The inverter models match the speed of the compressor to the cooling or heating load of a room and are capable of reducing energy consumption by up to 30%. The “M Series” also features “Econo Cool” which allows the flow of air to be directed to where it is needed most; this effectively means that the air circulated can be up to 2°C warmer and energy consumption reduced by up to 20% without sacrificing comfort.

Alternatively, another innovative Mitsubishi air conditioning system – known as the “Lossnay” system – employs a unique plate fin heat exchanger (”Lossnay” core) to extract stale air from a room and use its energy to heat or cool fresh incoming air. The incoming and outgoing air flows are separated by a specially processed paper diaphragm which means that only fresh air enters a room and the system provides a highly efficient, yet affordable, solution.
