LG Air Conditioning
LG Electronics is a subsidiary of the LG Group – a large South Korean conglomerate – and its air conditioning systems are amongst the most energy efficient and quietest on the market. Innovative “inverter” technology – which employs a variable rather than fixed speed compressor – allows the operation of LG air conditioning systems to be adjusted to the precise cooling, or heating, requirements of your home. This feature can result in energy saving of 40% or more compared to standard air conditioning units, but LG air conditioning units lack nothing in performance. Inverter technology allows LG air conditioning units to achieve their optimum temperature quickly even in extreme temperatures; heating from an LG air conditioning unit, for example, can be sustained even if external temperatures reach as low as 10°C below zero.
LG Air Conditioning Systems
Perhaps the most innovative of the LG air conditioning systems is the “Art Cool” range which is designed to look like a work of art rather than an air conditioning unit. This LG air conditioning system features interchangeable fascia in 3 different colours and so can be easily incorporated into your existing interior décor. Models such as the A09AW1 NF2 and the A12AW1 NF2, for example, feature a corrosion resistant gold fin heat exchanger and a “Neo Plasma” air purification system. Digital air flow control allows air to be circulated from the front, bottom and both sides of the unit – with the option to close the bottom louver completely if desired – so that you can adjust the direction(s) of air flow for your own comfort.
That is not to say that there is not innovation in other models from the LPG air conditioning range. The S18AW N52 and S24AW N52 models, for example, are designed to be mounted on a wall and feature the “Jetcool™” function which allows cool air to be blown powerfully for a period of 30 minutes or until your room reaches its optimum temperature. These models also apply “chaos” theory – a mathematical analysis which allows order to be established in a series of apparently random events – to air conditioning and recreate the “natural” flow of air. This creates a more comfortable environment without major differences in temperature throughout a room. As an example of a basic specification from the wall mounted range of LG air conditioning systems, the LG S09AW NE0 offers a cooling capacity of 890kW (”kilowatts”) or 3,070Btu (”British thermal units”) per hour and a dehumidification rate of 1.2 litres per hour.
